Story Behind the Song: So many people go through life looking at things they don't have, instead of the things they have been given, the life they have and where they live, not realizing how blessed they really are. I used to be one of those people, until I slowed down, and took a good hard look at the world around me. We should be thankful for what we have... The sun that rises every day, the rain provides water for us and our surroundings, the wind that can refresh us, as it carries the sound of our children laughing and playing, the birds who have the freedom of the skies. How much of this is really appreciated? |
